Advent by Candlelight
Join the ladies of St. Timothy for an evening of worship and dinner at our 2023 Advent by Candlelight. This event has been a staple at St. Timothy for ladies to come together to prepare their hearts for the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, before the hustle and bustle of the Christmas Season.
The evening begins at 5:30 pm with appetizers and time to view all the beautiful table settings. At 6:15 we begin the program with a time of worship and special guest speaker. Dinner is at 7, followed by dessert.
If you have any question, please call the church office or email AdventbyCandlelight@STLHouston.org

Prayer for the Nations
Our nation and our world are at a turning point. Believers all across this country have been given a way to change the path we are on and turn back to a Godly path. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” The healing of our nation begins with those who belong to Jesus. It starts with us humbling ourselves, praying, seeking God’s face, turning, and repenting.
As a church, we are joining with other believers across the nation from September 18th to September 28th, for a focused time of prayer and fasting, to repent and seek the Lord’s face. Each day we will have a prayer prompt to follow along with, leading up to September 26th when we will be simulcast a gathering at the National Mall called “The Return.” We will come together to pray along with other believers for our nation.
Please join us in prayer for 10 days by downloading a prayer guide here:
For more information on the Simulcast on Saturday, Sept. 26:
We will be simulcasting the live event from 8 am to 8 pm. You can come and go through out the day as you please. A schedule is available in the prayer guide as well as on The Return Website through the link above.

Hurricane Laura Relief
Heart for Texas is looking for volunteers who have chain saws and are experienced in using them. They are also in need of people to help the chainsaw crews stack the logs after they are cut. If you are able to help, Pastor Brad is looking to put together a team to go and help with the hurricane Laura relief efforts. Please contact Pastor Brad at Brad@stlhouston.org if you are willing to volunteer.
Can’t stack wood? Don’t know how to use a chainsaw? Unable to go to Louisiana? You can still help by donating needed supplies! CLICK HERE to download a list of requested supplies that will be taken to Lake Charles to aid in the relief efforts.
